Time management is making the most of our time so that we deal with efficiency the things that we do not want to do but have to, and be left with enough time to do the things that we enjoy. We exist only in the present, the now. It has to be enjoyed to the fullest extent that we can. Maybe this is why it is called a present. Outside of professional help, recognizing the origins of stress is the first step to self stress management. It may also be worth noting that there are stresses that develop gradually. It can not be detected until it reaches a critical level and then a breakdown occurs. Stress management is realizing that there are things that we can not change, there are things that sometimes can be changed, and there are things that we can do something about. Another common approach that can fail is to ask the trainees what they expect to address and resolve at the start of the time management training program and resolve this at the end with approaches that are still generic. Time management programs are now popularly available. The demand for this course has increased overtime. Depending on how it is perceived and used, the 90-hour window spells much of the difference between planning and control or being on the other side of efficiency and production. The language in the business world is productivity and wise use of time. Time has often been translated into dollars that if one is to remain competitive, there is simply no other option. Reduces stress Often it is not the amount of work done but the amount of work that is yet to be done that causes stress. This is complicated by the frenzy of activity that one goes through without showing much for results. Reduces anxiety Anxiety is more often the result of not being sure where one is going. Assigning work time frames for each task, even if it is not so realistic at first can give you a good idea later on regarding the a more realistic approach. The idea is to start it off and stick it out. Be flexible. It always happen that when you are trying to do a good job or start on a significant one that will have a drastic effect, sooner or later something crops up to derail your effort.
